This was made by Libbey Glass (aka Libby, not marked) to celebrate the U S Bicentennial in 1976. It also looks like the old antique fruit jars. It's in very nice condition as shown, notice there are three small nicks on one side, otherwise excellent shape slightly dusty.

Pure Milk Company 1 gal Jar. This gallon milk jar was made for the Pure Milk Company, Ashland, Ky. Jar is in very good condition. The only thing that is wrong is that one of the ears that holds the wire bale has been broken off and glued back on the jar. Have to look close to see where it has been glued back. Do not have the wire bale. On the bottom side of jar it has "Sealed BB 48". On bottom it has Pat. Pndg. #717 10. Notice the phone No. on the Jug if PH.1470.
