You are bidding a 1/3rd quart milk bottle From Borden'sGreat bottle, unique shape!Just light surface wear with a few small flea bites and one small scuff under the eagle. There’s a very tiny hairline seam on the rim, not a crack, it just goes along the outside rim into the inside rim, not all the way through, likely a string of glass from manufacture, but wanted to point that out. Vintage Grandview Dairy (Brooklyn) Milk Bottle (1 Quart) Please look at the pictures to see all of the embossing on this bottle br />No chips or cracks but the bottle has considerable cloudiness and could use a cleaning. According to a website listing the bottle, "in 1901 the company was opened by an Italian farmer, Giuseppe Caccioppo, who came to America in 1898. It was the third largest company in NYC after Bordens and Sheffield. The milk was supplied from over 800 farms by over 16,000 cows and then distributed by over 120 trucks."
