Warner & Sons Milk Bottle. We were not able to find another example of this bottle in our research. This is from the Red Lion, PA area. We don't clean our items for fear of devaluing them. The mold lines go all the way up the sides of the bottle and disappear. The top 1/2 and the very bottom 1" or so have a raised cross hatch pattern that makes for a very attractive bottle for any collection!! Up for auction is a Rare Property Of AIEA Dairy-Phone AIEA 63951 Honolulu Hawaii Milk Bottle. If it were not for the fact that this bottle has been around for so long, I would say it is in new condition. This bottle has no caseware, no cracks, chips, flea bites, mends, or any other inclusions to the glass. I can’t say perfect, so if you hold a magnifying glass to it you might find some micro scratches, but I haven’t found them. This bottle reads Property of AIEA, Phone AIEA 63961, Dairy, Half Pint. The top has an old faded Foremost cap on top. The rare heel of the bottle reads 2200 ML 15.
Embossed label on glass that says "NC Approved" and around the bottom is has "Modern Top Pat. 2112233". Minor wear in general. Rare and hard to find. Stands 9" tall and base is 4" across. From 1940s.
eBay For Auction is a Seldom Seen Early 1937 Red Pyro QT Milk Bottle from FOREMOST Dairy. Foremost began in 1929 and I believe this to be their earliest Pyroglazed bottle. Foremost operated in several states but I believe this to be from Charlotte North Carolina because the Graphics on the front are similar to a 1940 Modern Top from Charlotte. I see some previous of the 1940 Modern Top version being sold but can find no previous auctions for this 1937 variant. It has a Thatcher Makers Mark under the base and a embossed 7 indicating 1937. It is a thicker, heavier glass indicating late 1930's. This bottle is in Very Nice with No Chips or Cracks. A GREAT addition to any National Collection.
