Here’s a Scarce old embossed quart milk bottle from the Shadyside Dairy Company, 5295 State RD in Parma Village. Embossed in oval slug plate. I would date this c1930-40. Dairy building is still standing and now houses the Cleveland Furniture Co and was also known as Basista Furniture which closed in 2017. The dairy building was sold to Basista family back in 1957. Very historic piece of “Parma Village” history! Is in nice overall condition. Bottle has normal scratches / case wear, small dings and flea bites to mouth and base, from use. Small base rim chip. Here is a nice vintage 1952 1 gallon red ACL Superior milk bottle from Rock Hill, S.C.. I am assuming 1952 because it has "Sealed - L 52" written near the base. There's no damage to the glass other than some light scratches and scuffs. The paint is very good, there is some wear of the left side of the "M" in Milk that you can see in the pictures. For sale here is an older, vintage, clear, tall, round, embossed, slug plate, pint milk bottle. The dairy was located in Darnestown, Maryland. Montgomery County near Gaithersburg and Rockville. The bottle is embossed PLEASANT / HILLS / FARMS in a round slug plate on the front. Dated 1936. About 7.25 inches tall. Heavy bottle. No chips or cracks. Some normal light wear and a few scratches and flea bites. Some light cloudiness or film but I did not try to clean so may just be dust. Nice example.
