Beautiful sparkling 1940s WAIKIKI DAIRY ~ SPOKANE, WA half-pint ACL milk or cream bottle. Scarce bottle, especially in this small size! Measures 5 1/2 inches tall. No chips or cracks. Only very light case wear. This is about as nice as you are going to find. Has a tiny pour spout. Nice 70+ year old bottle from Eastern Washington. Check out photos and see how nice this one is. Be sure to take a look at my other vintage items. Thanks!
IN TARZANA, CALIFORNIA NEAR LOS ANGELES. THE BOTTLE HAS INDENTATIONS ON EACH SIDE TO AID IN GRASPING THE BOTTLE AND LIKELY IS AN EARLIER BOTTLE AS IT HAS NO PAINTED DETAIL. IT IS A GREAT COMPACT SIZE BUT CLEARLY LARGER THAN QUART MILK BOTTLES THAT ARE FOUND MORE FREQUENTLY.
Three Pair (Six total) Vintage Half Gallon Pyro Milk Bottles from Western Pennsylvania In A Vintage Metal Carrier Dairy Name (Pair #1): Elmview Jersey Farm.Dairy Location (Pair #1): Columbus, Pennsylvania (Warren County).Bottle / Graphics Condition: Strong graphics with hardly any wear. The glass is in nice shape too with light normal wear from use. These two bottles are topped with snug fitting plastic pour spouts. One of the spouts has a small crack at base. A word to the wise: removing the old spouts may cause them to crack and become unusable (says the voice of experience) Pyro Graphics On Bottle: Pyro graphics on one side:ElmviewJERSEYFARMDAIRYCOLUMBUS PA.Pyro graphics on other side with cow queen picture:ALL JERSEY®QUEENOF QUALITYDairy Name (Pair #2): Easthill Guernsey Farm.Dairy Location (Pair #2): Sharpsville, Pennsylvania (Mercer County).Bottle / Graphics Condition: Good looking graphics with mild to moderate wear. The glass shows moderate level scuffs / wear from extensive use. Bottle cap pogs from the dairy in plastic bottle caps are included. The pogs/caps show wear from previous use. Those plastic caps tend to be brittle and are subject to easy cracking - durability can't be guaranteed.Pyro Graphics On Bottle: Pyro graphics on one side with GUERNSEYSHARPSVILLE PA.Pyro graphics on other side with cow YOUDairy Name (Pair #3): Pot O Gold Dairy Specialties, Inc.Dairy Location (Pair #3): Bear Lake, Pennsylvania (Warren County).Bottle / Graphics Condition: Strong graphics with hardly any wear. The shade of the gold in the graphics differs between the two bottles. The glass is in great shape too with only very light normal wear from use. These are a more modern bottle - probably about 20 years old (that's about how long I've had them). The Pot O Gold Dairy name lives on, but under different ownership at a different location outside of Cambridge Springs, PA.ACL Graphics On Bottle: ACL graphics on one side with barn, cow, rainbow and golden pot picture:POT O GOLDDAIRYSpecialties Inc.Freshfrom ourFamilyFarmto yourFridge!NO ADDED BSTBear Lake PennsylvaniaACL graphics on other side with golden cow and diamond graphic:A portion of theproceeds fromeach bottle soldis dedicated tothe preservationof smallfamily farmsin the U.S.Commit to theLord whateveryou do and yourplans willsucceed Proverbs 16:3Randall D. &Beacky LeaMessinger OwnersCapacity: One half gallon for each bottle. Six half gallons for the carrier. Bottles Height: The bottles are all around 10 inches high.Bottle Graphics: Pyro graphics on two sides of bottles. Other lettering molded in glass.Bottle Graphics Condition: The pyro graphics are entirely readable and in nice shape with wear described above. Please examine photos for the complete description. Bottle Glass Condition: Washed inside and out. No cracks, chips or significant damage are seen on any of the bottles. Of course there is some normal wear from use as the bottles were in circulation in their working days. You may find any of the usual assortment of case and carrier scuff marks, light stains, rough spots, tiny flea bites, scratches, and glass manufacturing irregularities. As mentioned above, glass wear is light on 4 of the bottles and moderate on 2. Please examine photos for the complete description Bottle Carrying Handles: Plastic carrying handles are on all of the bottles - 4 red and 2 white.Carrier Description and Condition: The wire carrier with hard, rotating handle grip is in good structural shape with light wear from use. There is a little rust but it is mild. The carrier is probably made of galvanized steel. It attracts a magnet. Only light wear is seen on the hand grip. The carrier is approximately 11 inches high, about 11 inches wide and about 13 inches long. I don't know where or when the carrier was made, but it has been in my possession since the early 1990s. Please examine photos for the complete description. The carrier is designed to hold six half gallon milk bottles like the ones included Additional Comments: I think this little set displays wonderfully. The white pellets you see in the bottles are included. Keep in mind that white pellet fill not only makes the graphics stand out, it also helps to hide small flaws and light wear. Use your zoom-in powers to get an up-close look at condition Shipping Notes: I'll pack this very carefully and tightly, with enough cushioning for safe shipping. The bottles will be shipped in the carrier with padding to help prevent rubbing and rattling. If wrapped individually outside of the carrier a super giant sized box and more packing materials would be required and that would make the already expensive shipping costs even higher. Double-boxing will be used to add further protection from delivery abuse. If UPS delivers to your address, that might be the least expensive shipping method. (UPS doesn't deliver to PO Boxes and may have other restrictions.) Check out all shipping options offered for the best choice for your situation. You can also choose USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail shipping methods at checkout. If you choose UPS shipping and I find it is reasonable to ship by USPS instead, I may use USPS if there are no objections. Signature tracked delivery is a possibility LOCAL PICKUP RULES: If Free Local Pickup is offered for this item and you choose that option instead of an option to have the item shipped to you, there are a few rules to be aware of.
