| This auction is for a very rare unlisted "X.L.C.R. (Excelsior?) Pasteurized & Clarified Galesburg, ILL" 1 Quart Milk Bottle made by Thatcher in 1921. Condition is quite rough with bad lip chipping (front displays OK) and case-wear but it would still seal and seat a cap and has no cracks. Dug in a ~1926-1927 dump layer of nothing but milk bottles and shards in Peoria, IL, quite a mystery to all collectors so an interesting rarity in spite of the damage.
