Rare 1940's to early 1950's milk bottle pyroglazed in green lettering "Lone Pine Dairy Farm/Lone Pine, Calif./Reg. Cal." On the reverse it has "5c Deposit". Along the bottom at the base it is embossed with "One Quart Liquid Sealed 52 L-6". This bottle is the quart size, and stands 9 1/2 inches tall. Over the years these bottles have been snatched up whenever offered for sale. In the past few years they have all but dried up, and there has only been one specimen that I am aware of that sold on ebay and that was in the early Spring of 2019. It fetch... | |
