It is with great pleasure that I am able to offer this super rare early milk bottle from Hoboken, New Jersey. The bottle is a Whiteman's Patent milk bottle which dates around the 1890s through turn of the century The milk bottle is handblown with a tooled lip and would have had a tin-top closure system. You can clearly see the tooled marks around the lip indicative of its early manufacture. This bottle has a lot going for it! The embossing is super bold. There are three rings toward the neck for the "cream line" marked at 5%, 12.5% and 15%. The reverse side shares the patent date. The base is... |
