eBay Rare near-pristine pre-1940 5.25inch 1/2-Pint milk bottle from "BLACKSTONE'S DAIRY" of Caribou, Maine. Blackstone's Dairy was founded by Fred J. Blackstone about 1925 and delivered milk to just Caribou, Maine until 1931. Often delivering milk by sleigh in the winter or in his open Dodge Touring car when possible. They eventually expanded deliveries to Madawaska, Cross and Long Lakes, and started delivering to the Officers Mess at the Presque Isle Air Base in 1939.
