This listing is for a vintage MICHIGAN STATE CREAMERY quart bottle. From it's humble beginnings with their first cow arriving on the Michigan State Campus in 1867; the program grew to opening an on campus dairy which produced ice cream, chocolate milk, cream, cottage cheese, buttermilk and butter, along with white milk. The Michigan State Dairy operated until 1968. This quart bottle reflects the scope of what this college campus dairy supplied their cafeteria and they also offered these products to the the community via the Dairy Store and truck delivery.
