Up for bids is a Near Mint!, 1936, clear glass, 2 3/4" diameter 1936 DAIRY INDUSTRIES EXPOSITION souvenir milk bottle cap desk paperweight .... inside the glass dome is a standard waxed cardboard overcap milk cap containing a profile photo of an older woman and says DAIRY INDUSTRIES EXPOSITION ATLANTIC CITY ,1936 around the edge... on back is a thin cardboard plug "cap" that says COMPLIMENTS OF TOLEDO BOTTLE CAP COMPANY - SNAP-SEAL HOODS SIDE-TAB SURE-PULL SERV-ALL and shows a sailboat heading toward the city.... i'm sure this was a souvenir give-away at the Toledo Ohio milk cap booth for atte... |
