This is a nice lot of 4 Rieck's Dairy embossed milk bottles. (Allegheny County). The town and state are not printed on the bottles but this dairy is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There are two bruises on the pint size and a couple of lip fleabites on the half pint There are no chips or cracks on the quarts. There are some scratches/stain common in bottles of this age and constant use. All clearly embossed. Additional cleaning is always suggested. See pics. This group includes 2 Quart sizes, a pint and a half pint. They are embossed with the following: 1. Pint, very light SCA (sun colored amethyst) LIQ. 1 PT. REICK'S PURE MILK & CREAM REGISTERED 2. Quart, Amber LIQ. 1 QT. REICK'S PURE MILK & CREAM REGISTERED 3. Quart, Clear REICK 4 Half Pint, Clear REICK REICK A little info: The Rieck-McJunkin Dairy Company was founded in 1886 (incorporated 1897) by Edward E. Rieck in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after purchasing his uncle's dairy route. Its industry was dairy products and its headquarters remained in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It merged with the McJunkin Straight Dairy Company in 1917. It combined operations with the Hydrox Corporation in 1923 to form the National Dairy Products Corporation. Rieck-McJunkin operated as division of that firm until it was merged into National Dairy and became a part of the Sealtest Foods Division.
