Charles T. Hinckley, a native of Rockford, Illinois, established the first horizontally organized dairy farm in Alaska's interior in 1903. He and his wife Belle started the dairy on Fourth Avenue in Fairbanks in 1904 to serve the boomtown south of the Chena. In 1915, they moved to a larger location across the Chena, where Creamer's stands today. In 1928, the Hinckleys sold the dairy to Charles and Anna Creamer, who expanded the dairy operation. The dairy was operated by members of the Hinckley family until 1965. Very Rare find great condition perfect addition to and advid collector of vintage ... |
