| Here is one of the Earliee Southeastern Illinous Milk bottles you will find. This one has almost a Cone SHAPE. it has BOLD Embossing in a Round Slugplate that reads, "COLEMAN'S MT. CARMEL, ILL." Also has ONE QUART just above. The base has the Early mark of T.MFG. CO. This bottle has a Natural light amethyst tint from the Manganese in the glass, common on bottles from the Early 1900 to Teens Era. It has a Couple tiny surface pecks, very light on lower front. There is a Stress crack about 1 & 1/2 inches that runs Straight down from lip on back side..Not from Impect just twmp change or stress. I ... | |
