One of the rarest milk bottles in the US! This 6.5” tall stoneware Mackworth Pure Jersey Cream milk bottle was likely made by the Swazey Stoneware Co. in Portland in the 1890s for the Baxter Family private farm on Mackworth Island in nearby Falmouth Maine. Features the tin top closure popular from 1889 until about 1905. Generally very good shape with a 1/2” hairline to the rim and light overall crazing.
