For sale here is a vintage, rare spelling error variant, early and heavy, clear, tall, round, embossed, pint milk bottle from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia County. Bottle not marked Philly, but known to be from there. Note the spelling should be "Supplee" but is misspelled "Supplle" on the bottle. The bottle is embossed SUPPLLE / WILLS-JONES / CLEAN MILK on the front. Large S on back and on base. Unusual double collared lip. Likely dates to the 1920s. No chips, cracks, or hits. Haze from being dug. Still a good example of a harder to find bottle. Please review photos before bidding.... |
