John C. Coe, Jersey Milk, Winchester, VA. quart milk bottle. Cream graduation marks around the neck; 5% and 12 1/2%, Standard Cream Line. "Whiteman's Patent Feb. 18, 1890". Reverse side, "This bottle to be returned". Bottom, "Whiteman 144 Chambers St. N. Y. - M 3. The bottle is very clean and bright. Vintage Milk White 2pc Glass Street Light Cast Metal Antique 33"Tall GE?carbide
Hello. So I have on hand a not so common milk white 2pc streetlight. I know very little of its history. I did find it in a badly water damaged box stating GLASS carefully. That's it. I can tell you this. It is impressive. I was told it is a GE, 1920s 2300v line strung. 2 topped a King made pole. Could only imagine the spectacular sight that must have been. This is information shared with me, by someone felt their time was worth enough to share it. So I will, at this time, assume that is what it is. I haven't seen a milk white GE, though, so that the case? It's probably rarer. It had screen at the base indicative of early 1900s acetylene streetlights. Used heavily in South America. Do your research. I can not say with certainty it's exact type or origins. Other than that. Looks at least 100 yrs old. It's really big. Be supercool in a garde with a couple of solar globes in it. Anywho. See pics. Chip at upper rim. It's not a crack. Chip. No runs, cracks other than that. 5 pcs here. 3 metal, 2 glass. I also have a threaded rod that threads into top and runs all the way to the bottom, where a brace and washer allows a person to assemble it, and it stays together. Good start for a lamp. Be cool as he'll I've seen these with adornments and aide braces. And without. Only milk white are Sau Paolo or something. S/H won't be cheap. Item will ship wrapped in layers of soft foam. Then air cushions. Then Styrofoam. And a layer of couragated cardboard. It will make it to you. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

RARE tin top quart milk bottle NORTHRUP FARM FD JACKSON HOBOKEN NJ New Jersey
It is with great pleasure that I am able to offer this super rare early milk bottle from Hoboken, New Jersey. The bottle is a Whiteman's Patent milk bottle which dates around the 1890s through turn of the century The milk bottle is handblown with a tooled lip and would have had a tin-top closure system. You can clearly see the tooled marks around the lip indicative of its early manufacture. This bottle has a lot going for it! The embossing is super bold. There are three rings toward the neck for the "cream line" marked at 5%, 12.5% and 15%. The reverse side shares the patent date. The base is loaded with embossing attributed to the bottle maker. Here is a Confer's Dairy milk bottle from Howard, PA. These bottles rarely ever come up for sale and they are one of the most sought after embossed milk bottles from Centre County. This bottle is in good condition. It's very shinny and clean with no chips. It has some light case wear near the base and two small white dots on the bottom to be completely accurate. Also, take a look at the last picture. Right above the BB48 on the back there's an odd line in the glass. It looks like a tiny crack but it's so thin and doesn't go all the way through the glas so I'm not sure. This bottle displays awe

eBay Old milk bottle I found sticking out of the bank of the Naugatuck river. Embossed as shown. Washed up ok but has a light milky stain or haze line as shown down the side and some abrasions , a rough spot or two on some letters, teeny pic mark or two, etc.,etc. There is a tiny line with a flash in the neck that looks like a cooling line or little thin crackle glass mark. Scarce. Measures 9 1/2" tall. Raised lettering. Quite nice condition. I took photos in different light with different back drops so you can get a good idea of the condition. Only a few small scratches. I don't do thorough cleanings of rare vintage objects so there is still a bit of staining inside that I'm sure can be easily removed by someone more experienced. This is most visible in the first photo. The specks and lines you see at the shoulder are almost all staining inside, not damage on the outside. The second photo shows a one inch white line just above the logo. That IS a wear spot on the outer surface. Excellent lip with no flea bites. See photos. FREE SHIPPING with tracking. Vintage Handy’s Dairy Greencastle Indiana Creamer Mini Cream Milk Bottle 2" Tall
Handy's Creamer. (24 pics of the item).Estate find. The small glass creamer measures just shy of 2” tall. Advertising on one side only. Handy’s Dairy, Greencastle, Ind. There are no chips and no cracks. The a of Handy’s has a tiny but noticeable spot of loss that looks to be a bite to the surface. There are other less obvious specks of loss to the red. The dy’s letters are noticeably darkened (evident discoloration, blackened). The underside edge of the creamer has a good deal of swirl/wrinkle type crudeness (maker related). One wrinkle line sneaks up from the top edge and reaches the last e of Greencastle. The glass wrinkles are most concentrated to the front bottle edge; this area of globby excess to the surface has a few tiny bites that I noticed with the help of a magnifying loupe. The creamer has varying levels of minor scratching throughout the surface that is most easily recognized with the help of a magnifier. The thin ribbed line beneath the top edge has a few 1mm and 1.5mm bites. The top inside edge has a couple pinhead bites that I can feel with my fingernail. I think it is a good example of a rare creamer. My biggest concerns would be the crudeness to the underside edge and the darkening to the dy’s letters. RARE 1943 "KATAHDIN CREAMERY" of Caribou, Maine 1/2-Pint milk Bottle w/Blue-Pyro
Very RARE 1943 "KATAHDIN CREAMERY" of Caribou, Maine Half-Pint milk bottle with Blue Pyro-glazing in near perfect condition.This crystal clear bottle is 5-3/8inches tall and looks unused. The rim mouth front back and bottom ridge are all in pristine condition with the only exception being the underneath of the bottle. You can see a line (approx 1-inch) on the underneath in some of the pictures of the front & back and the last 2-pictures (pictures 23 & 24) are focused on that area. The line may be a crack but the glass feels smooth to the touch and the line extends across the mold circle and then disappears. Unlike other bottles showing "Caribou and Fort Fairfield" or "Caribou and Patten", this bottle shows only "Caribou, Maine". A little history: Katahdin Creamery operated from 1934 until it was sold to Guimond Farms of Caribou in 1962. However, the Caribou Katahdin Creamery processing plant was sold to Grants Dairy of Bangor, Maine in 1949. >This bottle has the embossed words "MAINE SEAL" around the number "1" on the upper part of the shoulder with the words "HALF PINT LIQUID" below it on the front of the bottle only.>Both the front and back of the bottle are identical with blue pyro-glazing that is both crisp and fully intact.> Along the bottom ridge of the front-side is embossed the words "REGISTERED 8A11">On the underneath is embossed with ".43." and "mTc"I want to thank you for looking and if you have any questions, please contact me via eBay and I'll reply promptly.
